my mum has just booked tickets to korea for the whole family yesterday.
it took a very long time for her to decide.
we'll be going during december. winter season.
she's really excited about the trip. so is my sister.
they're both so into korean culture now.
which was kinda surprising as my mum used to dislike any other food except chinese food.
and now they both love kimchi. weird.

i haven't taken a plane for years. the last time was when i was in p5.
long long time ago.
it'll be nice to see snow for the first time.
and we'll be able to see the performance 'BREAKOUT'! :D
besides going to seoul, we'll be going to jeju island too!
it's gonna be fun. (:

it's the end of week 1!
what a busy week it has been. and so many things has changed.
our work load is so much heavier now, and assignments are much much difficult to do now. planning lesson plans when we're only in year 1, and we still have to implement it! it's scary just thinking about it.

and we had to rearrange the groups this sem.
so all of us are not in the same group anymore.
a bit disheartening, but we'll all be able to work hard in our new groups. (:
my new group members are nice people.
and cynthia and i really are destined to be together,
even drawing lots couldn't separate us. haha.
but im gonna miss working with si jia, ilysa and elaine!

i find myself kinda struggling when i went for the first class of jap 102.
i forgot all my basics. -.-
gotta put in more effort if i want to do well!

work and school is keeping me really busy nowadays.
i dun even have time for my dramas! ):
im constantly in a state of blurness,
and my memory's failing me badly.

went shopping at bugis today. finally bought my bag!
i love it. and it's cheap too. only $23. (:
so worth it.

i was told that lee minho's coming to spore!
on 24 oct. feel like seeing him in person.
so tall and handsome. :D
and there's a flea market on that day too!
can shop some more. :D

and i realised im becoming more and more blur. -.-
i totally have no sense of time and direction.
when the door says 'pull', i pushed.
dropped my drink at mac, and i have no idea why too.
blame it on the uneven tray?
i dun think so.
i think it's just me.

made many blunders at work today. so very blur.

met up with glynis and jennifer after work with cory.
went shopping at orchard.
still looking for my bag and cory's looking for her wallet.
but we didnt find anything suitable. ):
i bought a pair of shoes at rubi for only $20. cheap.

thursday was a day filled with fun, joy and laughter. (:
we celebrated si jia's birthday at marina barrage.
our previous plan was to go to the zoo,
but unfortunately, cynthia wasn't able to get the free tickets to the zoo
coz her father was overseas.
but nevermind, marina barrage was just as fun! :D

baking the cake was a really fun process too!
ilysa, cynthia and i are just natural bakers. (:
we didnt follow any recipe!
haha.
our very own unique donut cake just for si jia. (:

it's a pity elaine didnt get to join us...
maybe we'll hold another party for her when she gets back from thailand.
a welcome back party.
haha.
im hooked on parties already. xD

monday was funny. :D
met cynthia for movie. supposed to meet her at cineleisure.
but she went to cathay at plaza sing! haha! my bad.
didnt specify which cathay. :X
so we went from floor to floor trying to find each other.
and in the end we decided to meet outside.
we still didnt know we were at different places!
only when cynthia said opposite her was smu, did we realise we were at different places!
hilarious.
in the end, cynthia came over because i already bought the tickets.
we watched i love you beth cooper.
funny and entertaining.
what a pity we missed the beginning. ):
we were late for abt 20 mins.
after movie we ate at taka.
until they switched off the lights. :D
then we talked some more outside then homed.

met joanna after work today. didnt see her for very long too.
she works just one block away from me. (:
went to plaza sing for dinner.
chatted abt random stuffs.
walked around and went home shortly after that.

results coming out tomorrow!
so very very very nervous =/

work is becoming very tiring.
waking up at 730 every morning...
plus the journey there is so long! 1 1/2 hours. ):
but im lazy to look for other jobs too. and the work load is not heavy... so i shouldn't complain. (:

and i've learned how to do edge out using photoshop! so proud of myself. haha. just 3 more weeks to getting my pay. cant wait! im so getting that zebra design. easy to match too. (:

my lappy's going crazy. there's a green line at the bottom of the screen which keeps blinking. and it's so irritating. thinking of briging it down for repairs. better to get it sorted out before school reopens.

what seemed like an easy thing to do, only seemed like such a difficult thing to do in my hands.
thank goodness auntie was patient with me.

had a nice chat with amanda while we worked yesterday.
found out shes also in ngee ann! studying accounting.
she tried to teach me a little about photoshop.
but i think i'll just stick to typing. so much easier. haha.

cant wait to get my pay. though i only worked for a week...
i wanna buy many things. especially a dickies bagpack!
my old zinc bag is so rotting.

i saw a commercial on liese's new hair dye.
the bubble hair color dye.
it looks so simple! just squeeze some on your palm and massage it into your hair.
definitely giving it a try. :D

the hols have started since last week.
and just when i was thinking how to endure this almost 2-mth long holiday, my father told me i can work part time! :D

i started work yesterday. it was nothing too hard to do. just typing in the names on photoshop and helping to pack the photos. and that was how i spent the whole day. from 9 am to 6. funny how time seemed to pass so quickly.

after work, as i was walking to the bus stop, i fell down.i tripped over something. the pavement step. my goodness. it was so embarrassing. not to mention painful. D:

my left knee too most of the fall, so it's hurting a lot now. plus some scrapes here and there. and i must remember to bring plasters out next time in case of emergencies. -.-

was supposed to meet cynthia and everyone else for steamboat tomorrow. but i dun think the thing's still on. i wanna meet up soon!!! ):

my insomnia is getting worse by the day. always sleeping at 4am plus in the morning. at this rate, im gonna grow some pretty eye bags. but i already have scary dark eye circles. and my mum keeps commenting on it. -.-

been spending so much money recently. always buying clothes. just bought 2 dresses at orchard yesterday. can't resist the great singapore sale.... haha. and today, im going to the flea market at clark quay! heard that there will be cheap clothes selling there. :D definitely must check it out. i wanna grow a money tree lah... the money i saved up to dye my hair? GONE. i'll hafta start from scratch again...

i busted my phone bill. a thousand plus messages. a first for me. my parents, especially my mum, were upset about it. okok, im sorry! i promise i won't do it again. (:

2 weeks holiday. definitely not enough! i don't want school to start at all! once it starts, it'll be the rush of meeting project deadlines. arghhh. monday, we'll be going to cynthia's house at marine parade! cant wait to go cycling again. (: but of course, we'll definitely hafta do work. the projects are piling up... and i still haven't start on my individual anecdotal record...

I'M BAAACCKKK :D
had lotsa fun at the sleepover at cynthia's house.
planning on going to her marine parade house next for our sleepover. (:

after s&w, we went to her house. after all of us showered and refreshed ourselves, we started on our assignments. see how hardworking we are? (: yep. then after that, we went downstairs to the coffeeshop to have our dinner. chatted for awhile then went back to her house.

continued our work for a bit and then we started our cam-whoring session. took lots of photos. around 50 photos maybe? thats how crazy we were. xD laughed ourselves silly too.

then shortly after that, we did some more work. then at 1 am, everyone started to get a little bored and wanted to watched a movie. my gawd. cynthia's collection of movies is two whole cupboardful! o.0 watched BRIDE WARS in the end. quite a nice movie but i didn't understand some parts. but the ending was touching though.

the show ended around 2 am plus. si jia, elaine and ilysa felt tired so they went to sleep first. i continued on my summary and watched dramas till 5 am. and all the while cynthia was talking to her friend in the phone. she started the conversation at around 11 plus and talked all the way till 5 am! i really take my hat off to her.

woke up at 8 am today cause my shoulder was aching from the saggy pillow. (must give me a better pillow next time k cynthia?) adjusted myself and went back to sleep until 10 plus. by the time we dilly dallied and got ready, it was already 11 plus. time for brunch. (:
we ordered KFC. really expensive and they don't deliver this and that. pepsi was in cans too and not even cold. -.- not gonna order from KFC anymore.

while eating, we watched another movie. TITANIC. can't believe it when cynthia said she haven't watched this movie before! the funny thing was, it was her first time watching this movie, but the discs wasn't complete cause it's pirated. so she didn't watch the ending which was the most exciting part! what a pity.

after everyone was done, we continued with our work. until 5pm. when ilysa had to leave for her jap test. me and si jia took bus 171 to yishun. and on the way, we couldn't stop laughing. don't know the reason why too. must be the lack of sleep. it's causing us to be delirious. we laughed at practically everything... to the cramped space of our seat and our bulky bags. i couldn't stop smiling even after i got off the bus. i can't imagine what the other passengers were thing about. xD

and yea. im done with my story-telling. picture time! :DDD

currently at cynthia's house :D juz showered and feeling refreshed. volleyball training today was tiring... and the sun was scorching hot! felt burnt after it was over. i still have trouble serving. stupid net. -.-

i think the coach got frustrated with us. =x a bunch of girls who couldn't serve. so he made those who failed to get the ball over the net run. needless to say, i ran. several times too. -.-

I AM SO DISAPPOINTED.
my first jap test was terrible. why was i so nervous??? couldn't even get the words out right. stumbled over my sentences. and i didn't even realise i was shaking. >.<
sighs. but the good thing is the teacher said i definitely passed coz i managed to complete most of my tasks. i wanted my first test to be better than this... so disheartening. D:
oh wells. i just hafta work harder for the other tests. =/
thinking about the sleepover tomorrow at cynthia's house tomorrow lifts my spirits a little. (:

firstly, i wanna say
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MUMMY!!! :DDD
we celebrated it yesterday with my cousins and my aunt. it was actually a last minute decision for them to join us. so after dinner at ASTON'S at sembawang shopping centre, we ended up at a pub at yishun safra. it was quite a small pub but the ambience was not bad.

my mum really let her hair down yesterday. haha. never before have i seen my mum so drunk. totally a first. she danced until everyone else was tired but she still couldn't get enough! haha. i danced just a few times coz i really couldn't dance and also because i didn't drink at all. i was only allowed to drink orange juice. D: but never mind, my eighteenth birthday will be more memorable and exciting this way. hehs.

the adults were really all high on alcohol. the crazy things they did... dance like nobody's business. and my aunt's the funniest. when she sang on stage, the musicians couldn't follow her as she sang the song wrongly. downright hilarious. xD

partied till the pub closed. which was 2.30 am. then finally they decided to go home.
this morning, my mum had a hangover and said she regretted getting so drunk last night. well. at least you had fun, mummy! (:

didn't really do anything today. coz mummy's not really in the mood. poor her. we went to some place to eat lunch. love the tom yam there. and the food there was cheap and good.
then went grocery shopping at toa payoh.

we went to sembawang beach too. but didn't stay long as the weather was simply too hot. there wasn't any breeze at all. afterwards, we went to northpoint to eat our dinner. mummy still didn't have any appetite to eat. so i shared a pot of frog leg porridge with her. (: went home shortly after that.

hate hot weathers. mozzies alert!

i know i have not been updating my blog for a very long time... and that's because i have somewhat lost the interest for blogging. in fact, i'm considering deleting this blog. but for the sake of the blog links, im keeping it. (:

hmm... it's alr week 5 now. and things are starting to fall into place. i've had a lot of fun and laughter thanks to my dear friends of T03 (:
hopefully, we'll be able to go to cynthia's house next week during e-learning week for a sleepover! and this time, i'll make sure belle never forgets me. (:

i love my attachment so far. the kids are way adorable. the only thing i don't like is doing the reflections workbook. ask a load of funny questions which always leaves me in question marks. -.-
the centre serves great food too. always feed me full full de. haha.
i dunno how i did for the 500 word essay. i can only hope and pray for the best. just let me pass...

volleyball. im slowly but surely picking up the right skills to play. at least my stamina's picking up. i no longer feel tired after playing for a short while. (: the only thing standing in my way now is the tall net. -.-

volleyball training was so damn tiring...
it was so hot!
and 3pm is when the sun is at its hottest.

my stamina is still as bad as ever. -.-
felt tired after playing for like half an hour?
all the others seemed so enthusiastic. tireless too.

and the guys could even find the energy to play basketball
during breaks! o.0
guys will be guys.
they make volleyball seem so effortless.

my arms feel so tired.
especially so coz i had to carry my super-heavy laptop to school today.
now my hands can't stop shaking. -.-

but surprisingly, i didn't have any bruises. (:

according to the letter, all freshmen are required to attend this programme for a semester. my first thought was, ' would i be able to survive? even for a semester? ' i have absolutely no idea what kind of activities we would be doing! :X

we went to east coast again today.

the weather today was great!

and there were many people too.

it felt good to have the light breeze blowing against my face as i cycled =)

i needed the exercise.

ever since my looong holiday started, i've been having sleepless nights everyday. could be because i've not done anything in the day that makes me tired enough to sleep at night. so, i went to yahoo and typed in 'ways to cure insomnia'.

here's what i found:

10 Ways to Cure Insomnia

1.Limit food, liquids, and caffeine for a couple of hours before bed. Your body needs to start resting before it completely relaxes. This is an easy way to cure insomnia.

hmm. i'll keep this in mind...

2.Learn whether you're a morning lark or night owl (or neither!) and make the most of it. If you love to get up at the crack of dawn, then don't force yourself into a different schedule. Learn your rhythms and let them shape your sleeping habits naturally.

3.Check your medications. If you're on a prescription that disrupts sleep, talk to your doctor or herbalist about remedies for insomnia.

nope. im not on medication right now.

4.Exercise regularly (but not close to bedtime) because your health affects the quality of your sleep. Whether it's yoga, fencing, running, or going for a walk – get oxygen and move your body around. This is a healthy way to cure insomnia.

i've tried listening to music before. but i can listen to all the 100 plus songs in my phone and im still wide awake. -.-

6.Keep a journal or pad of paper by your bed; write your worries and thoughts down. There will be plenty of time to deal with them tomorrow.

i only have one constant worry. what do i do when i wake up the next morning? oh yeahs. there's really plenty of time to deal with it. -.-

7.Stay positive. Even if you don't fall asleep fast, don't let frustration or anger wind you up. Adopt a positive mindset (and keep practicing until it becomes a habit – it may even spill over into your days!).

i sent in the application already and all i can do now is to wait for good news.
i was struggling at first on whether to take up korean or jap,

although i'm a fan of korean music now...

looking forward to it too.
was considering going to the npsu camp at first.
but when i saw 'swimming attire' and 'sports shoes' on the kit list,
i immediately changed my mind.
i'm definitely not gonna do any kind of exercise during camps!

it's so heart-warming...

then, a fairy took pity on him and sends him back to the past and gives him a second chance to woo the girl again.

he caught my eye in KUROSAGI. and since then i've been searching for his dramas.

in kurosagi, he acts as a swindler who targets other swindlers.

and his many images in the show totally showed his charm.

watched 'THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON' yesterday with glynis, jennifer and jieying at northpoint! =)

the first thing we said to each other was, ' 好久不见!' . haha. xD

it has been quite some time since we last seen each other. much less gone out with each other...

anyways, the movie was interesting to watch.

i can't imagine the feeling being born old and growing younger as people grow older. =/

and you can't fall in love normally.

the sad part was that benjamin couldn't stay with his wife and daughter. he had to leave for the child's and his wife's sake. he would not be able to take care of them.

towards the end, benjamin got senile dementia. it's part of growing old, but the thing is,

his physical appearance was a kid.

what's romantic was that daisy continued to look after benjamin until the day he died. as a baby.

i strongly recommed everyone to go watch this movie. it'll make you laugh and cry. =)

it's been a week since i updated my blog.

it's falling into neglect.

well... last weekend i was out house visiting for the last time.

had steamboats for both days.

speaking of steamboat,

i've had them on almost every house visits!

now that chinese new year is over,

im gonna miss eating them. haha.

this year's CNY is the most fun of them all.

i don't usually go to other ppl's house ( except for relatives')

for house visiting.

and this new year i went to a few.

it was really fun.

hope next year will be the same too!

on to something more serious.

ay. my appeal failed. tough luck.

all the courses i like all seems to be very popular.

the odds are constantly in my favour.

i wonder why...

but then again, i can't blame it on luck.

i lack proper planning.

didn't do much research on the courses i selected.

YESTERDAY.

went to cheryl's house for house visiting.

it was so convenient.

cheryl and i live so close together. =)

i met cheryl under her block, then i accompanied her to go fetch lan yuan

at yishun mrt station. and he is such a blur sotong. ask cheryl to meet him at

the mrt station, he himself went to the bus interchange instead. -.-

make us wait for him for so long.grrrr...

after meeting sabrina ang, we went to the coffeshop to eat lunch with her parents and her brother's friends. the dishes include abalone and shark's fin! her parents are so generous...

after eating, we went to their house. and immediately started gambling. haha. xD they suggested playing blackjack. i kept losing in the first few rounds. =(

so i decided to wait for the others to finish their mahjong round.

then my luck slowly started to change.

i got a ban luck and everything started to go smoothly after that.

but still, i wasn't able to win recoup my losses. =(

but never mind, i had fun.

i so wanna go to cheryl's house again next year. =)

if not for the message sent by MOE to inform me

i wouldn't have been able to wake up so early at all.

i got into my third choice - early childhood education.

as it turns out, my parents weren't pleased with my
posting results.
after a serious discussion,
i decided to appeal to another course - optometry.
after all, that course offers better job prospects.
so yeahs. all i can do now is to hope and pray
that things will turn out well this time... =/

played 'guess the number' with my cousins.
losers had to drink up.
won quite a few rounds but also lost some...

but my cousins got drunk though...

went to cousin joanna's house today for reunion dinner!
played snap using poker cards and dai dee.
snap was really fun.

everyone would get a small pile of cards and a person would start by
putting out a card and saying 'ace'.
the order goes: ace 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 J Q K
if the starting card is really ace, everyone would have to quickly put their
hands on that card.
the last person to put their hand there, would have to take that card.
the first person to get rid of their cards wins!
but this game can be never-ending.
good game to play if you have a lot of time to spare.

we also had a manicure and pedicure session.
i painted my finger nails red and my toenails a darker red.
鸿运当头嘛。。。 haha. XD

been watching 'We Got Married' these few days. (:
and i really love it!

it's absolutely hilarious. hahas. xD

it's a korean comedy where 4 predetermined

(as in participants don't choose who their partner is,

but the pairings are set up by the PD) couples are

allotted a certain amount of money ($20, $40, etc) to

prepare dinner for themselves. The participants try to

portray themselves as a real life couple and go out together

to buy groceries for dinner. It then follows them to a mock

home where they prepare the dinner and eat. In between

scenes there are interviews with the participants asking

questions like what they feel about their partner and

what they like or don't like about him/her. The actual

date together as a couple and the interviews are all

prefilmed and the participants and MCs watch it all back.

At the end, each side of the couple privately chooses if

he/she would stay together with his/her partner or not.

and my fave couple is hyun joong(leader of SS501) and hwang bo! <33

i recently had to change my current retainer
coz it was causing a gap between my molars.
and oh. how i hate this new retainer of mine.
it's causing me so much grief! >.<
it's cutting against my gums and causing me ulcers.
it hurts to put it in and it even hurts when i take it out.
and i have to eat with it too.
although i cheat when the pain is too much for me to bear...

i used to think that all my pain and sufferings would end
once i had my braces taken out.
i couldn't be more wrong.
first, i had to adapt to speaking normally
with the retainers in my mouth.
fine. i got that over with.
and now this?
unbearable.

i know i shouldn't complain so much since im getting free treatment,
i know im lucky and all...
i should be grateful.
i used to be.
until one problem came after the other...
and i began to wonder if, free or not, if all this was worth it.
screw my crooked teeth. >.<

the most memorable event i've attended was the wedding of my cousin!
the couple was so soooooooo romantic and blissfully happy. haha.

i spent the new year's eve at my aunt's hse.

it's christmas eve today!
which means we are only 1 day away from christmas...
maybe it's because im old or there's something wrong with me,

watched 'Superman Returns' and 'Love Actually'
on channel 5 ytd.
i glad i returned home just in time to catch these shows. (:
fantastic shows, they were.
brandon routh is great as superman.
really handsome. (:
but the story didn't have a happy ending wif lois lane.
thats a pity.

watching 'Love Actually' made my heart feel warm.
the love stories are so touching...
and i think i watched the movie wif a smile on my face throughout the show.
haha. XD

i cannot say for sure whether this blog can last long,
coz it may be another one of my '3 min hotness'.
